We're Waiting...

Will and Else (Anderson) seem to be happy over the holidays while waiting for the arrival of Will's brother or sister. Contrary to popular belief, we (Liz and Dave) do not know the sex of the the child. Vegas odds are 3-1 for "boy" since Liz's pregnancy looks and feels a lot like the last one. The "boy's name" is yet to be decided despite the valuable input of all our friends.

As of today, Liz is on full bedrest to "stay pregnant" as long as possible. We were prepared to possibly have the baby last week if there was not a significant weight gain, but it appears that our steady regime of normal meals + Ben and Jerry's has worked. Both the unborn child and father have gained some significant weight. Mom has stayed pretty even. Thanks to Lynn for coming out and being a supurb "just-in-case" houseguest. Will was sad to see his A#1 playmate leave and returned to the rigors of daycare. His spoiling and over-attention could take months, possibly years, to reverse, but we are very appreciative of Lynn's effort.

We'll keep you all posted, hopefully on a daily basis. If no real significant news arrives, you'll be forced to endure my daily rants on such interesting topics like: movies, food, oil changes, MN sports scene and my unwritten screenplays and unpublished novels.
